1992 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus, heritage cherry sunburst. Serial number 2 5977. This guitar is 100% (original including the original brown Gibson hardshell case), with the exception of added nickel plated pickup covers and a Seymour Duncan '59 in the bridge position. Besides usual wear, the only flaw we can find is a slight center seam opening where the stop tailpiece is.Ā These early Les Paul Classics are out absolute favorite Les Pauls that are still affordable - these have many reissue features such as a moreĀ vintage correct headstock shape than the Flametop reissues of the same era, correct fretboard inlays (shape and colour, these are not the ugly snot green variant of post-1993 production!), ABR-1 bridge, thin cutaway binding, 'Les Paul Model' on headstock.Ā The slim neck is easy and fast to play and despite a solid one-piece mahagony with a killer flametop it only weighs 4.25kg.
