1991 Fender Esquire 54 Reissue natural blond
1991 Fender Esquire '54 Reissue, natural blond. Made in Japan, serial number 14217. This guitar went through some experimental times - the original darker butterscotch blond finish was mostly stripped, exposing a beautiful two-piece sen ash body. The fretboard was once oversprayed red (yeah... why??), some of the finish is missing. The pickguard is not original (3 extra holes underneath), neither is the pickup, it now mounts a Seymour Duncan Broadcaster. The factory mounted Fender USA Vintage bridge was also oversprayed. But now for the good stuff! The frets shows only very little wear and the guitar is both a fine playing and sounding specimen. Weighs 3.7kg.
