1990 Gibson Les Paul Classic, tobacco sunburst. Serial number 00925. This rare first year edition Les Paul is 100% original, including the original brown Gibson hardshell case.Ā These early Les Paul Classics are out absolute favorite Les Pauls that are still affordable - these have many reissue features such as a moreĀ vintage correct headstock shape than the Flametop reissues of the same era, correct fretboard inlays (shape and colour, these are not the ugly snot green variant of post-1993 production!), ABR-1 bridge, thin cutaway binding, 'Les Paul Model' on headstock. This one here has naturally aged and shows some true extra mojo: lots of patina on the hardware and the nitro finish has lots of subtle weather checking. Weighs 4.4kg.
