1974 Fender Stratocaster sunburst
1974 Fender Stratocaster, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 573858. This guitar is mostly original, but a few things have been replaced over the years. It features a new saddle and tremolo arm and comes with a recent black rectangular Fender hardshell case. It's an early 1974 model with staggered polepiece pickups, but the middle pickup is a vintage replacement from 1975 and has the flat polepieces. No audible difference in sound in this case here. The bridge/tremolo assembly is a more recent vintage style unit with steel bridge saddles. At least the volume knob is also a replacement, albeit they all look right. Weighs only a hair over 3.4kg!
