1973 Fender Jazz Bass sunburst
1973 Fender Jazz Bass, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 407145. This bass has obviously been played a lot and the front of the body and the headstock were exposed to heavy climatic conditions. Luckily, the bass retains full structural integrity. Had a pro refret with a recent fret level, plenty of life left in the frets and it plays wonderfully. A set of Lindy Fralin pickups and recent CTS pots with a Sprague Orange Drop tone cap give it a strong tone. Replaced pickguard (a few extra thumb rest screw holes underneath), knobs, pickguard screws and later Fender tuners. Comes with a choice of a deluxe gigbag or Gator gigcase. Weighs 4.2kg.
