1972 Fender Precision Bass sunburst
1972 Fender Precision Bass, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 370183. This bass is mostly original, but has newer electronics, pots, thumb rest and a cool celluloid pickguard. The bridge saddle screws were also replaced. One half of the pick-ups needs to be rewound, it currently has a black bottom half of unknown vintage installed (sounds fantastic). The original half is in the original black tolex Fender hardshell case (along with the original black plastic neck plate shim). The neck on this bass is the rare A-width, which could be ordered at the time. This is your bass if you're looking for a well worn P-Bass with a slim Jazz Bass type neck! Weighs 4kg.
