1972 Fender Precision Bass sunburst

1972 Fender Precision Bass sunburst

1972 Fender Precision Bass, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 342934. This bass is 100% original except for the knobs. It doesn't show a lot of aging or wear from playing, but the original three-tone sunburst finish on the body shows what seems to be a very heavy reaction to heat (or a chemical reaction, ie. the previous owner tried to polish the body with an alcohol based solution?). The finish on the body is sticky in some parts, which is reflected in the price. On the upside, this bass has a very nice fat neck, plays effortlessly and sounds big. Weighs 3.9kg only!
