1971 Marshall Bass and Lead Model 1962 2x12 Bluesbreaker
1971 Marshall Bass and Lead Model 1962. Made in UK, serial number 2076C. This is one of the last real Bluesbreaker amps - factory fitted with a JMP 50w Tremolo head and two pre-Rola Celestion Greenback speakers. It's all original except for the bias filter caps (originals included) and one resistor. The footswitch is a later 1970s replacemet. One power tube was also replaced. Original transformers (784-139 / 1202 184) and components. We believe that one back panel screw was replaced and the lower panel was cutout to pass the cable and footswitch through. The amp is remarkably clean, we can't find another one for sale anywhere else in the world and none sold this clean! Operates smoothly and well, it's THAT sound. It had one owner from 1971 until 1980 and one from 1980 until 2019. This is not the Popular or Artiste amp - it's the real deal Bluesbreaker. Comes with the original black waterproof cover.
