1969 Gibson SG Standard cherry red
1969 Gibson SG Standard, cherry red. Made in USA, serial number 855232. This guitar has had quite some mods over the years, most notably a well concealed headstock repair with overspray on the entireĀ guitar. The pickguard, switch tip and the neck pickup were replaced (most likely an early '57 Classic with the sticker removed, original '69 cover though). Out of phase in the middle position. At least two of the tuners are not original to this guitar either and they're all fairly wobbly, but tune up nicely nonetheless. The bridgeĀ thumb wheels may be replacements as well. The good stuff: it has nice frets and plays and sounds great! Comes with a recent TKL hardshell case. Weighs only 3.25kg.
