1969 Fender Jazz Bass sunburst

1969 Fender Jazz Bass sunburst

1969 Fender Jazz Bass, sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 263359. This bass is 100% original and comes with the original no tail logo Fender hardshell case. The neck actually has an April '66 date, most likely a leftover blank was used or they simply had the wrong digit at hand when stamping that neck (a '66 neck finished in '66 would have the hootenanny strap button on the back of the headstock). Very nice and dark fretboard and a more slender neck profile than most late 60s Jazz Basses we've had. Sounds fantastic. Weighs 4.05kg.
