1966 Fender Jaguar candy apple red
1966 Fender Jaguar, candy apple red. Made in USA, serial number 112394. This guitar is 100% original. It's a very early '66 model with a Sept. '65 neck stamp and January '66 pickup dates. One of the last to feature Kluson Double Line tuners, very attractive guitar with the short lived 'dots & binding' neck. It looks like it either lived in a very hot climate and/or had a reaction to something, as the finish has an opaque and melted feel, it almost looks like a dakota red color. The finish on the neck shows the same odd reaction. The frets show barely any wear and the guitar is freshly setup with 12-54 strings and needs nothing. Comes with a recent brown tolex Fender hardshell case. Weighs 3.9kg.
