1965 Gibson SJ Southern Jumbo sunburst
1965 Gibson SJ (Southern Jumbo), sunburst. Made in USA, serial number 277831. This guitar is mostly original, but feature a new Tusq bridge saddle, new nut and a new set of Kluson double ring tuners (Schaller style tuners were previously mounted as evidenced by 6 extra holes on the back of the headstock). Has a few professionally repaired small cracks in the top and was recently checked and setup - this is a very healthy acoustic with amazingly low action and it is structurally solid. It must have been made in very early 1965 as it still has the sought after wider nut width.
Comes with a 1960s Gretsch hardshell case. Weighs 2.05kg.
