1964 Fender Precision Bass natural
1964 Fender Precision Bass, natural. Made in USA, serial number L51428. This bass was stripped from its original candy apple red finish sometime in the 1970s, when the pots and bridge were also replaced. Original finish on the neck, original grey bottom pickups (date illegible). With a Nov. '64 neck date and a mix of pearloid (fretboard) and clay dots (fretboard side) and gold basecoat on the remaining original finish (underneath the pickguard), this was most likely shipped in early '65, though the serial number range is fully in '64 territory - either way, it's a great P-Bass, the only one you'll ever need.  Comes with the original black tolex no tail logo Fender hardshell case, the original bridge is also included. Weighs 3.8kg.
