Ca. 1959 Kay Up-Beat K8990, lustrous golden blond. Made in USA. This guitar is all original except for the switch tip, knobs and strap buttons. Some cracks in the Kleenex Box pickups and pickup rings, lots and lots of wear everywhere. It had a neck reset at one point in its life as many of these need one. The frets play fine and barely have any grooves in them, the guitar is currently setup with a comfortable action, albeit the bridge can't be lowered much anymore. Fantastic sounding vintage guitar with the desirable Kelvinator headstock! Comes with an Epiphone hardshell case. Weighs only 2.95kg.
