1953 Gibson Les Paul goldtop
1953 Gibson Les Paul, goldtop. Made in USA. This guitar is 100% original and comes with the original brown tolex 5-latch Lifton hardshell case, case keys and envelope and instructions leaflet. This is a very early '53 model, as the IRC pots are dated to the 5th week of '53. The vertical numbers on the back of the headstock read 1861 or 1891. It's a one-owner guitar that was meticulously cared for, with only very light wear overall, a truly amazing find. One corner of the input jack plate broke off and the cutaway binding has shrunk a bit. The frets are as good as new. Weighs 3.9kg.
