1952 Old Kraftsman Kay K-161 Thin Twin II natural. Made in USA. This guitar is mostly original, except for the tuners, tone caps, 3-way switch and tailpiece. One resistor is disconnected and it has some extra pickguard screws to prevent further shrinking. Lovely first year edition of the Thin Twin model with the faded orange tort pickguard. The pots date to the 37th week of '50. Huge neck profile, excellent frets, but the guitar shows wear that is to be expected from a 73 year old instrument. Also known as the Jimmy Reed model. Comes with a hardshell case. Weighs a hair less than 3.1kg.
